About Us
Mentors RN was born out of my own journey—one filled with challenges, perseverance, and a deep passion for helping others succeed. When I started my nursing education in the accelerated 15-month program at Rutgers University–Camden, I quickly realized how demanding and overwhelming the path to becoming a nurse could be, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a mother of two, I was balancing not only a rigorous course load but also the responsibility of providing a better future for my family.
Despite the challenges, I found strength in mentorship and tutoring. While in nursing school, I became a student tutor, helping my peers navigate complex coursework, study strategies, and exam preparation. I was honored to receive an award for having the most appointment requests, a clear sign that students needed guidance and support to succeed. After graduation, I was hired by the Rutgers School of Nursing as a mentor and teaching assistant, allowing me to continue helping students overcome academic hurdles and develop the confidence needed to thrive in their careers.
Through these experiences, I saw firsthand how many aspiring nurses struggled—not because they lacked the ability, but because they lacked the right guidance, strategies, and encouragement. That’s why I created Mentors RN—to bridge that gap and provide structured, personalized support to future nurses.
I wanted to build a platform where aspiring nurses could gain step-by-step guidance on education, applications, and clinical skills, while also learning how to stand out in a competitive field. Nursing changed my life, and through Mentors RN, I hope to change the lives of future nurses by equipping them with the tools they need to succeed and make a lasting impact in patient care.
